You provide us with a copy of your existing database and we analyse it and estimate how much time it will take us to write a conversion program. From this we can determine the price.
Once an agreement has been reached between us, we write the conversion program and run a number of test conversions for you. You then have the opportunity to check and verify the accuracy of the conversion process. Once you are happy that this is accurate, you choose a day to go live which suits your work pattern. On the chosen day, you cease live operation for a few hours, send us your live database which we convert and send back to you. Past experience shows that you can be up and running again on the same day!
The amount of work involved depends on the complexity of your existing database rather than the quantity of data.
